Here Are the Facts:
In the U.S., 45 percent of all pregnancies are considered "unintended," meaning they are mistimed (27 percent) or unwanted (18 percent), according to the Guttmacher Institute.
When a woman faces an unintended pregnancy, she has a choice to make. She deserves to have all the information on all of her options and a support system that will be there for her no matter what she decides. Pregnancy help centers offer women compassionate care and vital resources as they make one of the most difficult decisions in their lives.
In spite of the positive impact centers have on communities, some websites degrade the work they do, falsely referring to them as “fake clinics” and lying about the services they provide. By crafting false “reports” and encouraging their supporters to write fake reviews online, they seek to prevent women from accessing the support and resources they need to make an informed choice, perpetuating an empty myth about a nonprofit community that has been serving women, men, and youth for the last half-century.
In an effort to ditch the rhetoric and stick to the facts, we’re here to provide the truth about pregnancy centers.
