About Us
All women deserve to know the truth about their pregnancy options. Pregnancy help centers exist to provide care and resources to women throughout their pregnancies, most often at no cost. Their services vary based upon the needs of their community.
Common pregnancy center services may include:
- Free pregnancy tests
- Information about pregnancy options
- Material resources (diapers, clothing, etc.)
- Ongoing support (including parenting education and abortion recovery groups)
Services provided at pregnancy help medical clinics may include:
- Consultation with a licensed medical professional
- Limited ultrasound for pregnancy confirmation
- Testing for sexually transmitted infections and diseases
- Abortion Pill Reversal
Unfortunately, abortion advocacy organizations and media outlets are disseminating false information about the work pregnancy centers do, labeling them "fake clinics." Yet the standard by which they determine whether a clinic is “fake” is based solely on whether they perform or refer for abortions. By that test, almost all clinics and charities in the country would be deemed a “fake clinic.”
Having worked directly with pregnancy help centers for more than 50 years, Heartbeat International has witnessed the positive works of pregnancy centers and the impact they have within their communities.
We are here as journalists, lawyers, nurses, mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends coming together to ensure that the facts about the pregnancy help community are known.
Pregnancy help centers are here to provide compassion for pregnant women, single mothers, post-abortive women, and any other woman looking for support.
